Stories Seasoned with Grace and Grit
Welcome to my corner of the world, where words hit like a good meal: bold, honest, and made to stick with you. My writing isn’t polished fine china; it’s cast iron, heavy, seasoned, and built to last. I write the way I cook: with heart, a little heat, and an unapologetic love for real stories that feed the soul.
You won’t find sugarcoating here. Life’s too raw for that. What you will find are stories served straight from the fire, stories that dig deep, wrestle with faith, mercy, and the messiness of being human, but always land on grace. My words are for the ones who’ve been burned, bruised, or broken, but still believe there’s beauty left in the ashes.
This space is my table, a gathering place for readers who crave more than surface-level inspiration. You’ll find links to my own work and to books and teachings from friends whose words carry that same heartbeat, honest, gritty, and full of life. These are writers who tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable, and who remind us that redemption still tastes sweet after the fire.
So take your time. Read. Explore. Get lost in stories that bleed a little, heal a lot, and remind you that you’re not alone in the journey. Around here, the plates are full, the conversation’s real, and there’s always room for one more.

Rev./Chef Andrew Gantt
I’m Andrew Gantt — a chef, shepherd, storyteller, and someone who doesn’t believe in sugarcoating life. I write the way I cook: bold, honest, and unapologetically real. I’ve only got one book out for now, but I’ve got plenty more in the works, stories that dig into life, faith, and the messy, beautiful moments that shape us.
I write for the ones who’ve been burned, bruised, or broken, but who still believe there’s hope and redemption waiting on the other side. My goal isn’t just to entertain; it’s to challenge, inspire, and serve up truth with heart. Whether I’m telling a story or stirring a pot, I want my words to leave a mark, something that sticks, something that feeds, and maybe even sparks a little fire inside you.
Pull up a chair, stick around, and take it all in. There’s more coming, and I promise it’ll be worth the wait.

Rev. Michael K Gantt
Let me tell you about my old man, Michael Gantt. He preached his first sermon at fifteen and never looked back. After nearly fifty years pastoring in the same Vermont town, he finally passed the pulpit to my brother, but he didn’t slow down. He’s still out there preaching, writing, and, as he puts it, “strengthening the iron of the church.”
Dad didn’t start writing books until he was almost seventy, but once he did, the words came pouring out, full of conviction, grit, and grace. His voice has shaped mine more than I can say. He taught me that real faith isn’t clean or convenient; it’s forged in fire and lived out with your sleeves rolled up.
If you want truth that challenges and encourages in the same breath, check out his work at www.mkgantt.com. It’s the good stuff, straight from a man who’s still preaching like eternity’s just around the corner.

Rev. Jeremy Stoner
Let me tell you about Jeremy, father of six, former U.S. Marine, and a man whose life is anything but quiet. Between raising a household full of kids and living a life of service and study, he brings a perspective you don’t see every day. He’s studied Christian theology and adolescent psychology, and he’s still digging deeper, always learning, always teaching.
Jeremy is one of the few men in Georgia I’ll call brother, and if he were the only one, I’d be perfectly fine with that. His books are full of wisdom, grit, and heart, and his blog, Stoner’s Simple Thoughts, dives into some of the most honest, no-nonsense life lessons from the Bible you’ll find anywhere. If you want real talk about faith, life, and how to navigate both with integrity, Jeremy is the man to read.

Robyn Stires (Gantt)
Let me tell you about my sister, Robyn Stires, or as I lovingly call her, “Nerd.” She’s an amazing teacher with a heart for seeing people grow, no matter where life has planted them. Right now, she’s working on some writing of her own, but she’s also sharing her voice through her podcast, Blooming in a Cage, where she dives into real-life lessons and encourages listeners to grow in Christ, even in tough seasons.
Robyn’s ministry is simple but powerful: to help people flourish spiritually wherever they find themselves, bringing hope, insight, and a little bit of tough love along the way. She’s passionate, genuine, and one of those rare people whose encouragement sticks with you long after the conversation ends.
